TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard/forward Gary Harris injured his right hand on Friday against Utah and logged just 12 minutes of action. He had his lone points via a three-pointer and picked up three rebounds and one steal. The veteran has been a regular starter for the team since making his season debut in November, averaging 8.6 points in 23.5 minutes. Jalen Suggs is the main candidate to take Harris' spot in the starting unit, although he has been bothered by right ankle soreness lately and played for just 14 minutes on Friday. Suggs already had a spell as a starter at the beginning of the season before going down with an injury, averaging 12.6 points with 3.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists. These numbers came without Markelle Fultz in the lineup, but Suggs should still be a solid fantasy piece as a starter.

Orlando Magic center Bol Bol (health and safety protocols) will miss another game on Monday against the Sacramento Kings as he's still in the health and safety protocols. He entered the protocols back on January 4th and will miss his fourth consecutive game. While he's out, Moritz Wagner will see some more time off of the bench and Wendell Carter Jr. will likely see some more usage in the starting lineup.

TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Moritz Wagner has been suspended two games for his involvement in Wednesday's altercation with the Detroit Pistons. The big man pushed Killian Hayes into the bench while the two were running for a loose ball. This led to Hayes punching Wagner in the back of the head. Both players have been suspended, along with a handful of other players as well. The Magic will be without Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo Bamba due to them getting suspended as well. It sounds like Bol Bol is going to be forced into action during their next game.

TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. has been listed as available on the injury report for the team's game on Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The 23-year-old has missed the last 17 games for the Magic. His last appearance was on November 18th. Orlando is finally starting to get healthy as they've welcomed back a few players over the last couple of weeks and now they will get their starting center back. With Carter back on the floor, Bol Bol and Moritz Wagner will likely take a hit to their value moving forward.
Wednesday, December 21
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard/forward Franz Wagner (ankle) is a game-time decision for Wednesday's matchup against Houston. He sprained his right ankle Monday versus Atlanta and the early signs weren't good regarding his availability for Wednesday, but Wagner went through the shootaround and it looks like he is trending toward playing against the Rockets. However, if Wagner is forced to miss his first game of the season, Terrence Ross and Cole Anthony should share most of his minutes.
Wednesday, December 07
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) won't suit up for Wednesday's meeting with the Clippers, marking his seventh consecutive absence. The 21-year-old has started 13 games this season, averaging 12.6 points, 5.5 assists, and 1.5 steals. However, while he remains out, Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony should continue to benefit statistically.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (hamstring) will have to miss another game with a hamstring strain. This will be his fourth consecutive game missed due to the hamstring issue. He hasn't exactly been a pillar of health this season as he's only played six out of a possible 25 games. As he sits out, the value of Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony, and Terrence Ross will continue to rise. All three of them are solid streaming options if they're on the waiver wire in any type of fantasy league.
Tuesday, December 06
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) has been officially listed as out for the team's game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Right now, his issue is listed as ankle soreness. The 21-year-old has already missed six consecutive games with this ankle injury and will at least miss a seventh. There haven't been many reports on a timetable for his return either. Since he's out, Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony will likely take on the bulk of the minutes at point guard.
Monday, December 05
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba (back) has been ruled out for his fifth consecutive game Monday vs. Milwaukee due to back pain. Just prior to going down, Bamba had cracked the starting five and begun to display his nearly nightly double-double upside; on the year, the 24-year-old has averaged 8.2 points and 4.5 boards in just 18.7 minutes per game. With Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) also sidelined, the Magic have turned to Bol Bol and Moritz Wagner to sure up their interior. Bamba's next chance to return to action comes Wednesday against the Clippers.
Friday, December 02
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (hamstring) returned from his meniscus surgery back on November 18th and has appeared in six games since then. Now, after only being able to play 16 minutes in their last game, Harris picked up a strained hamstring that will cause him to miss at least one game. He's officially listed as out for their contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. With Jalen Suggs out and Markelle Fultz on a minutes restriction, Cole Anthony and Terrence Ross will likely see a boost in usage.
Thursday, December 01
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) hopes to return to action in 1-2 weeks. The talented big man is nursing a strained right plantar fascia and it has forced him to miss six games. It looks like he will be out for at least four more games. In Carter Jr., Orlando has lost its best rebounder and one of the team's highest scorers. Mo Bamba and Bol Bol have benefitted from his absence, and Moritz Wagner has also entered the rotation lately after missing the start of the season with a foot injury.
Wednesday, November 30
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Although Orlando Magic point guard Markelle Fultz (toe) will start in his 2022-2023 debut versus the Atlanta Hawks, the Magic want to ease him into the rotation and plan to stop his play at 15 minutes. With his fractured left toe being the reason why he's missed every game of the season so far, it's understandable to pace him out of the gate. There's no telling what he'll do in 15 minutes of action, but the Hawks aren't the same defensive liability as they've been in years passed, evidenced by their 12th-ranked defensive rating. It's safe to stay away from fantasy or betting scenarios regarding the young point guard.
Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba (back) was previously listed as questionable after leaving the team's last game with back spasms. It looks as though the back spasms are too much as he's officially listed as out for their game against the Atlanta Hawks. In his place, Bol Bol and Moritz Wagner are likely to see most of the minutes at center. Paolo Banchero will probably see an increase in his usage as well. The former duo would be the better streaming option with Wagner as the one who is more widely available.
Tuesday, November 29
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba (back) was forced to leave the team's last game with back spasms that were too much to overcome. He only was able to play for 12 minutes and had a pretty quiet evening. Now, he's listed as questionable for the team's contest on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. If he can't suit up, Bol Bol and Moritz Wagner will likely see the bulk of the minutes at center. There could be some small ball thrown in, but those two would be the top streaming options.
Monday, November 21
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The young big man will miss his second straight game as he continues to deal with a right plantar fascia strain. There isn't a whole lot the team can do for Carter, so he'll just need to rest until he feels better. In the meantime, Mo Bamba will draw another start in his absence. He'll be a strong streaming option until Carter gets back on the court.
Saturday, November 19
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) won't play on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers, marking his sixth consecutive absence. It's unknown how long the rookie will be out, although his next chance to make it back will come on Monday for the rematch with Indy. Without him, Bol Bol, Jalen Suggs, and Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) should remain the primary scoring options. Chuma Okeke, who has averaged 7.6 points, 5.4 boards, and 1.0 blocks this season as a starter, will likely continue to fill in for Banchero, giving him some value in deep fantasy formats.
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) is questionable for Saturday's meeting with Indiana. The 23-year-old sat on Wednesday against the Timberwolves before returning on Friday versus the Bulls. He finished that one with 21 points while adding eight rebounds and five assists. Carter also played 34 minutes, so the team could give him a night off as he deals with a right plantar fascia strain. If that's the case, Mo Bamba is the favorite to replace him in the lineup. Bamba had 10 rebounds, eight points, and one block during his only start in 2022-23. However, with Paolo Banchero (ankle) out, he may offer more to fantasy managers.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (knee) is questionable on Saturday against the Pacers. After having meniscus surgery in September, the veteran made his 2022-23 debut during Friday's meeting with the Bulls. He finished that one with seven points in 24 minutes, so he may get the night off for the second game of a back-to-back. If Harris is ultimately ruled out, R.J. Hampton, who was a DNP-coach's decision versus Chicago, could move back into the rotation. However, he's not a trustworthy fantasy performer by any means.
Wednesday, November 16
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) has been listed as questionable to play Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is a new injury for Carter, and given the nature of plantar fasciitis injuries, this is something to monitor. If Carter is unable to go, Bol Bol and Mo Bamba would likely see the majority of the frontcourt minutes. Bamba has been playing well after a rough start to the season and is firmly back on the fantasy radar if Carter misses time.
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) is questionable to play Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Banchero has missed three straight games and is in danger of missing a fourth on Wednesday. If Banchero does remain out, Chuma Okeke will likely remain in the starting lineup and continue to see big minutes. Franz Wagner should continue to see a boost in usage as well.
Orlando Magic power forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) will miss a fourth consecutive game Wednesday against Minnesota. The top pick of this year's draft is recovering from a left ankle sprain. He was carrying a questionable tag before getting ruled out, so it appears that Banchero's return isn't far away, but he still needs some time off. His absence has pushed Chuma Okeke to the starting unit, and he's been solid for most parts, but his numbers do have room for improvement, with the 24-year-old having averaged 9.7 points, five rebounds and a block per game in 31.7 minutes. The team definitely needs more from him, especially if Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) also ends up missing the game.
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) has been downgraded to out on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hopefully, this won't turn out to be something serious because a lot of the time a plantar fascia strain calls for longer recoveries. For now, Mo Bamba would be a good streaming option in this game as someone that has the ability to help in many different categories. Especially since Paolo Banchero is also out.
Monday, November 14
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. It appears the young forward will miss at least one more contest due to a left ankle sprain. Chuma Okeke is expected to continue filling in and has been playing over 30 minutes during the last two games. He isn't a great streaming option, but is worth looking at in deeper leagues while Banchero is sidelined.
Friday, November 11
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) is questionable ahead of Friday's meeting with Phoenix. The rookie has a sprained right ankle and didn't play on Wednesday against Dallas. As a result, he was replaced in the starting lineup by Chuma Okeke, who had only eight points in 32 minutes. If Banchero misses another game, Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr., and Jalen Suggs should do most of the heavy lifting on the offensive end.
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) won't play against Phoenix. The 19-year-old will now miss his second consecutive game as he continues to be sidelined by a sprained ankle. Without Banchero, Chuma Okeke will remain in the starting lineup. Okeke scored only eight points in 32 minutes while filling in for the rookie on Wednesday night, although he's certainly capable of playing much better. With that said, Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr., and Jalen Suggs are the favorites to lead the way offensively on Friday night.
Wednesday, November 09
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) is listed as questionable to play Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks. The standout rookie appears to have suffered a left ankle sprain after his 30-point performance on Monday. The injury does not initially appear to be serious, but is something to monitor. If Banchero is unable to go, Chuma Okeke and Mo Bamba will likely see increased roles.
Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (ankle) was previously listed as questionable on Wednesday but has since been downgraded to out. The Magic have had issues putting up numbers in the win column as it is, and now Banchero marks their seventh player listed as out for this contest. The rookie has been sensational, as he's been setting scoring marks that haven't been accomplished since LeBron James in 2003. Fantasy managers can look to Franz Wagner, Terrence Ross and Chuma Okeke to get more minutes and opportunities.
Thursday, November 03
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. This doesn't come as a surprise after Ross exited Tuesday's game due to a knee contusion. Fantasy managers should have a better idea where he's at after shootaround on Thursday. Jalen Suggs and R.J. Hampton would see increased playing time if Ross isn't able to play. Suggs has the most upside between the two guards.
Wednesday, November 02
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) was ruled out Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ross suffered a knee contusion in the first quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the contest. The Magic continue to be riddled with injuries in the backcourt to start the season. Caleb Houstan started the second half for Ross while Jalen Suggs should see an increased boost if the injury is serious.
Tuesday, November 01
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) is questionable to play Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Suggs, who suffered a sprained ankle on October 21st, has a chance to play after missing five straight games. The Magic are still missing Markelle Fultz (knee) and Cole Anthony (abdomen) so Suggs returning would be a welcome sight to their depleted roster. If Suggs is able to go, depending on Orlando's rotation, they will likely move Terrence Ross or Bol Bol to the bench. R.J. Hampton would also see a decrease in play time.
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) will play Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Suggs is the only healthy point guard on the roster, but the Magic have elected to bring him off the bench after a five-game absence. With Suggs back, Terence Ross and R.J. Hampton should take a hit in their minutes. There has been no report of a minutes restriction for Suggs so he should see a decent amount of minutes as the backup ball-handler.
Thursday, October 27
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (oblique) suffered an oblique muscle injury on Wednesday night. As of right now, there is no timetable for his return until further tests are done. The injuries are stacking up for this young Magic team, as they're already without Jalen Suggs, Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac. That being said, Kevon Harris and R.J. Hampton will likely see an uptick in playing time to make up for the lack of guard depth.
Saturday, October 22
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) will miss Saturday's clash with Boston after getting hurt Friday night. He managed to play just 16 minutes Friday against Atlanta, leaving the game with a right ankle sprain. Suggs' injury will likely elevate Cole Anthony to the starting five. He made his season debut off the bench Friday after recovering from an illness and produced a very good performance with 25 points in 28 minutes. Terrence Ross figures to get a bigger role offensively as well, and R.J. Hampton will be hopeful of logging more minutes.
Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony will join the starting five for Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics. This doesn't come as a surprise considering fellow guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) will be sidelined again. Anthony dropped 25 points during Friday's game. Although, he does have a more difficult matchup against Marcus Smart during this game. Despite that, fantasy managers should still be able to get decent value out of Anthony here.
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) underwent an MRI on Saturday. The test confirmed that Suggs does have a sprained ankle. The Magic don't have a timetable for Suggs, so he'll likely depend on how his ankle responds to treatment. This sounds like it's going to be more than a standard day-to-day type of issue. Cole Anthony will move into the starting five for Saturday's game. The expectation is that Anthony will continue to start while Suggs is out. He should have increased fantasy value until Suggs is able to get back on the court.
Saturday, October 08
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (knee) was forced to exit early during Friday's preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks. The young guard went down holding his knee and was helped to the locker room. This is very concerning especially for a player like Suggs who dealt with a ton of injuries last season. The team hasn't given much information yet, so everyone will have to wait to know the severity of the injury. Markelle Fultz (toe) is out as well, so Cole Anthony is going to get a ton of run, assuming Suggs misses time. Fantasy managers should get another update on Suggs shortly.
Sunday, September 25
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz (toe) fractured his left big toe during a workout. Fortunately, he won't need surgery, although he is now in a walking boot and likely to miss training camp, if not longer. The 24-year-old has been plagued by plenty of injuries throughout his career, playing 19 games or less in four of his five years in the league. Fultz already wasn't a popular fantasy option due to his inability to stay healthy, so the latest ailment certainly won't help things. Nevertheless, without a definitive return date for Fultz, Cole Anthony could be more featured than he was predicted heading into the 2022-23 campaign. R.J. Hampton may also get more involved.
