Cowboys Waive Dennis Houston
The Dallas Cowboys waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Dennis Houston on Tuesday. This could be a sign that the Cowboys are expecting Michael Gallup (knee) to make his 2022 season debut in Week 3 on Monday night against the New York Giants after he tore his ACL in January. If Houston clears waivers and isn't picked up by another team, the 23-year-old could re-sign to the Cowboys' practice squad. In the first two weeks for the Cowboys with Gallup sidelined, Houston caught just two of his six targets for 16 yards, with all of his production coming in the season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
