He will make his NFL debut after missing the first three games of the season. While the Bears are thin at the wide receiver position, they don't throw the football much. As a result, Jones should be left on waivers in redraft leagues.

Although, the Bears have thrown the ball only 45 times through the first three games. Jones appears to be more of a deep league stash or dynasty hold right now. It's unlikely he has much fantasy value right out of the gate.

The rookie is nursing a hamstring injury that also caused him to miss the season-opener against the San Francisco 49ers. His next chance to suit up will be in Week 3 versus the Houston Texans. However, if Jones is available for that one, he may be limited, although the wideout likely isn't on many fantasy rosters at the moment. Nevertheless, it should be business as usual in Week 2, with Darnell Mooney, Cole Kmet, David Montgomery, and Equanimeous St. Brown expected to get plenty of attention from Justin Fields.

Jones didn't play much in the preseason and most likely went undrafted in standard 12-team leagues this summer. The third-rounder's status for the Week 1 regular season opener on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers is now up in the air, but he won't be a recommended starter for fantasy managers, even if he does end up playing. The 25-year-old should only be stashed this year in dynasty/keeper and much deeper single-year leagues for the time being. Darnell Mooney, Equanimeous St. Brown and Bryon Pringle figure to be Chicago's starting wideouts in three-wide sets to begin the year.
