Tommy Tremble Active Against Tampa
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (hip) is officially active for the Week 17 divisional showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Meanwhile, wide receiver Rashard Higgins is a healthy scratch. Tremble came into this contest as questionable due to his hip injury, but he will play and should be Carolina's top pass-catching tight end. However, the 22-year-old will continue to split snaps with Ian Thomas, limiting his fantasy appeal to the very deepest of leagues. Tremble has only 15 receptions on the year for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 28 targets over 15 games (four starts), so he should be avoided in the vast majority of fantasy lineups as the Panthers look to make a statement in the ugly NFC South.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (hip) is questionable for Sunday's critical meeting with the Buccaneers. The 22-year-old was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, considering he was available for a full practice on Friday is a positive sign that he should be good to go. Tremble hasn't done much this season, so there likely aren't too many fantasy managers concerned about his availability one way or another for Week 17, mainly since he hasn't caught more than three passes in a game all year.

He will look to log a full practice this week to increase his chances of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. The 22-year-old has caught 15 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns over 15 games in 2022. Tremble has split TE1 duties with Ian Thomas and logged 57% of the snap share in the Week 16 win over the Detroit Lions. Tremble is not on the fantasy radar and is a dart throw at best in deep-league formats against the Bucs in Week 17.
