Laviska Shenault Jr. Questionable For Week 7
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shenault has missed the last two games after exiting early in Week 4 with a hamstring injury. He was able to log two limited practices and one full practice this week, so he should have a decent shot to suit up. If active, Shenault could see additional targets with Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey recently traded. The 24-year-old has flashed upside in the past and is an interesting stash in dynasty and deep redraft leagues, but he is far from a starting lineup option at the moment.

Laviska Shenault Jr. Ruled Out Against Rams
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams. It will be Shenault's second straight missed game due to his hamstring injury. The 24-year-old has been active in just two of five games in his first year in Carolina. He didn't see any targets in Week 4 while playing just eight percent of the offensive snaps. In his debut with the team in Week 3, he caught both of his targets for 90 yards and a touchdown. In this unexciting offense, Shenault should remain on the waiver wire in 12-team leagues. Robbie Anderson (illness) is questionable for Sunday as well, so Shi Smith and Terrace Marshall Jr. could be looking at more playing time behind DJ Moore against LA.

Laviska Shenault Jr. Exits With Hamstring Injury In Week 4
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) was questionable to suit up in Week 4, but was active and handled one rushing attempt for zero yards before exiting with a hamstring injury. Shenault did not return. He did post 90 yards and a touchdown in his Week 3 Panthers debut, but his utilization in the offense going forward was unclear with DJ Moore, Robbie Anderson, and Shi Smith playing ahead of him. If Shenault is forced to miss time, Rashard Higgins could see some additional reps.

Laviska Shenault Jr. "Probably A Game-Time Decision"
Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said that wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) is "probably a game-time decision" in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. Shenault is officially listed as questionable on the final injury report. The 23-year-old was limited in Friday's practice after missing Thursday's session, so he at least has a chance to play this weekend. Shenault was a healthy scratch the first two weeks of the season before catching both of his targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in his debut last week against the New Orleans Saints. He played just 18 percent of the snaps, though, so even if he's given the green light to play against Arizona, he'll be a desperation flex option in deeper fantasy leagues.

Panthers Acquire Laviska Shenault Jr. From Jaguars
The Carolina Panthers acquired wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday, according to sources. It's unclear what the Panthers shipped to the Jaguars in return. Shenault came on strong for the Jags late last season, but he finished with 63 receptions on 100 targets for 619 yards and no touchdowns in 16 games (10 starts) in his second NFL season. DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson are locked in as Carolina's top two receivers, but Shenault could be an upgrade over Terrance Marshall Jr. out of the slot in his new home. The former second-rounder gives Carolina an added receiving weapon that can be moved all around the formation, including out of the backfield. He'll probably still go undrafted in 12-team leagues, but he's one to keep an eye on in deeper formats.
