D'Ernest Johnson, Jack Conklin Inactive For Browns
Cleveland Browns running back D'Ernest Johnson and offensive tackle Jack Conklin (knee) are inactive for the Week 2 game against the New York Jets. Johnson will be a healthy scratch for the second straight week to open up the 2022 season. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are fully healthy and will continue to share touches in the backfield against the Jets this Sunday. Fifth-round rookie Jerome Ford is currently ahead of Johnson on the RB depth chart in Cleveland. Conklin is recovering from season-ending knee surgery last December, and he'll be hoping he can make his season debut in Week 3. James Hudson is expected to start again at right tackle with Conklin out.
