New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (illness) is active for the upcoming Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders. This is good news for the Giants with Kenny Golladay (illness) sitting out this game. That being said, Slayton should see an uptick in targets with Golladay on the sideline. He should be a fine WR3 considering he has been the Giants most reliable wideout. Fantasy managers in need of production at wideout should see if Slayton is available on the waiver wire before kickoff.

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (illness) was added to this week's injury report on Thursday when he missed practice due to an illness. There's still a good chance that Slayton will be able to play in Week 13 against the Washington Commanders, but it's something fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on heading into Sunday's contest. The 25-year-old has turned into the Giants' top receiving threat in a run-first offense this year. In 10 games, he has caught 27 of his 44 targets for 476 yards and only two touchdowns. In half-point PPR scoring, Slayton isn't even a top-50 fantasy receiver, giving him low upside as a WR3/flex in starting fantasy lineups this weekend if he's active.

Last season, Slayton finished with 26 receptions, 339 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in 13 games. He spent a majority of training camp battling for a spot on the roster. His original $2.5 million salary will turn into $965,000 for the 2022 season. At the moment, Slayton is off the fantasy radar in most formats. Although, he could find his way into the mix, assuming the Giants lose a player or two due to injuries.
