  An MRI exam confirmed that San Francisco 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (knee) suffered a torn left ACL in the Week 5 win over the Carolina Panthers. He'll have season-ending surgery on his knee, according to a source. The 26-year-old was using crutches after the game on Sunday and wasn't able to put any weight on his leg. In his five games played with San Francisco this year, Moseley had 21 tackles (18 solo), an interception returned for a touchdown and five passes defensed for the Niners secondary.
