Phillip Lindsay, Jordan Wilkins Elevated To Active Roster
With Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) out for Week 9 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, the team elevated running backs Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Wilkins from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. The Colts traded Nyheim Hines to the Bills on Tuesday, so they'll need additional depth with Taylor injured. Indy landed Zack Moss from Buffalo as well, but he's unlikely to be up to speed in his debut with the team after just being acquired on Tuesday. Deon Jackson should operate as the lead back against the Pats with Taylor out, but Lindsay did have 14 carries and caught six passes earlier this year in the two games that Taylor missed due to injury.
