Mack Hollins Will Play Against Saints
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Mack Hollins (heel) will suit up for the Week 8 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The 29-year-old was battling a heel issue in practice, but it sounds like he'll take the field in this one. Davante Adams (illness) and Hunter Renfrow (hip) are also active for this contest. Normally, Hollins wouldn't have much of a role, but the loss of Darren Waller (hip) could open up more targets for him. Despite that, he'll be a desperation option in deep leagues with Adams and Renfrow healthy.

Renfrow will start in the slot against a banged up Saints secondary, but the potential return of tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) would be more bad news for Renfrow, who is still searching for his first touchdown of the 2022 season. Renfrow has become a lower-ceiling WR4/flex for fantasy managers. Hollins hasn't missed a game this year and should be available against New Orleans. Much like Renfrow, he'll continue to be an inconsistent WR4/flex in deeper leagues, although he does have a 100-yard game and two touchdowns in six games in 2022.

It doesn't seem like either Renfrow or Hollins are in serious danger of missing Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints, but we'll keep an eye on their status the rest of the week. Renfrow returned from the bye last week with three catches for 55 yards, while Hollins caught two passes for 44 yards and his second TD of the year. Renfrow has yet to find the end zone in 2022 and has really been hurt by the presence of All-Pro Davante Adams in the fantasy realm. With tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) potentially returning this Sunday, Renfrow and Hollins will be WR4/flex options this weekend.

With tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) ruled out, Renfrow and Hollins could be a bit more involved if they are active. Renfrow is the more attractive WR4/flex play in fantasy lineups, but the Texans defense has been stingy against opposing receivers this year and have allowed just one touchdown.

Both Hunter Renfrow (hip) and Darren Waller (hamstring) are uncertain for the upcoming matchup with the Houston Texans. That being said, Hollins could have a bigger role alongside Davante Adams, assuming he's able to play. Hollins did have an eight-catch game for over 150 yards earlier in the season. He could be worth the gamble for some desperate fantasy managers, assuming Renfrow and Waller remain sidelined.
