Marcus Williams Designated To Return From IR
The Baltimore Ravens designated safety Marcus Williams (wrist) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, and he returned to practice. The Ravens opened their 21-day window to officially activate Williams from Injured Reserve, and that could come in time for him to play in Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 26-year-old has been on the shelf since he dislocated his wrist in Week 5, so whenever Williams does return to game action, he could have his playing time limited due to the long layoff. Before the injury, Williams had 33 tackles (26 solo), three interceptions, five passes defensed and a fumble recovery in five games. Once he's back up to speed, he should have a prominent role in Baltimore's secondary.
