  • Marshon Lattimore Making His Return In Week 17

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is officially active in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lattimore has not been active since Week 5 due to an abdominal injury, but he'll be out there on Sunday. Because of the long layoff, it's not wise to expect the 26-year-old to be out there for every defensive snap, but his return will be a huge boost to the Saints' secondary against Eagles backup quarterback Gardner Minshew. The four-time Pro Bowl cornerback had 15 tackles (10 solo) and two passes defensed in his first five starts before getting injured. Despite the return of Lattimore, the Saints defense/special teams unit isn't recommended in fantasy while going up against the high-powered Eagles offense, even with Jalen Hurts (shoulder) out.

Through his first five games, the former Pro Bowler amassed 15 tackles, including five in one game against the Vikings.

  • Marshon Lattimore Remains Sidelined

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is officially inactive for Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Lattimore came into this contest listed as questionable after practicing in a limited fashion all week, but he'll ultimately miss yet another game. The 26-year-old defensive back hasn't played since Week 5 due to his abdominal issue, but he's getting closer to playing and has been practicing since Week 13. The Saints will be hoping that he can get back on the field for a Week 16 matchup versus the Cleveland Browns next Saturday. It's likely that Alontae Taylor and Bradley Roby will be starting against the Falcons this weekend.

  • Marshon Lattimore Won't Play On Monday Night

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) will not play on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite being limited in practices last week, according to sources. Lattimore will miss his eighth straight game after suffering a lacerated kidney. The 26-year-old is getting close to a return, though, so the Saints could have him back when they return from their Week 14 bye to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. With Lattimore still sidelined to finish off Week 13 action, rookie Alontae Taylor is expected to continue seeing an expanded role in the secondary. Lattimore's absence is great news for Bucs receiver Mike Evans.

  • Marshon Lattimore Unavailable For Week 12

New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) won't suit up for the Week 12 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The four-time Pro Bowl defensive back hasn't played since Week 5 due to a a lacerated kidney and other issues. The good news is, Lattimore is progressing well and was able to practice this week. However, the Saints are going to take it slow with Lattimore. That means, the Saints defense will have to play at least one more week without Lattimore.

  • Marshon Lattimore Back At Practice

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen), who has been dealing with a lacerated kidney and other issues, returned to practice on Wednesday. Lattimore hasn't played for the Saints since Week 5, so he's not guaranteed to return to the field this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, but it's good news that he's back at practice. The Saints defense could surely use the 26-year-old to help slow a 49ers offense that looked unstoppable in their win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night. The four-time Pro Bowler had 15 tackles (10 solo) and two passes defensed in five starts before his injury in Week 5.

  • Marshon Lattimore Has No Timetable To Return

New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) has no timetable to return, according to head coach Dennis Allen. The stud defensive back has missed each of the last four games due to an abdominal issue. The organization hasn't given many updates on Lattimore, so he probably isn't progressing too much. The expectation is that Lattimore is going to continue missing time. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to make an impact on this defense in the near future.

  • Marshon Lattimore Out Against Ravens

New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) has been ruled out for the Week 9 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. This marks the fourth game in a row that Lattimore has been forced to sit out. His absence should open up more playing time for Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor. The Saints secondary gave up big games to Ja'Marr Chase and DeAndre Hopkins without Lattimore on the field. However, they held Davante Adams in check last week. Possibly, this unit won't miss Lattimore too much against the weaker Ravens receiving corps.

  • Marshon Lattimore Ruled Out Against Raiders

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) has been ruled out in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders after not practicing all week. Meanwhile, cornerback Paul Adebo (knee) is questionable after being a limited practice participant all week. Lattimore will miss his third straight game after getting injured in Week 5. It's more bad news for the Saints battered secondary, and if Adebo can't suit up, rookie Alontae Taylor should once again see plenty of playing time. Lattimore's absence is good news for Raiders wideout Davante Adams, who is questionable to play due to an illness. Through seven weeks, New Orleans' secondary has allowed 217.3 passing yards per game to their opponents.

  • Marshon Lattimore Ruled Out For Week 7

New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen said that cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football. It will be Lattimore's second straight missed game with an abdomen injury, weakening the Saints secondary against a struggling Cardinals offense. Expect Paulson Adebo to be the team's top cornerback again this week with Lattimore ruled out. Through six games played, the New Orleans defense has allowed 222.0 passing yards per game. Adebo will likely be matched up against Cardinals No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who will be making his season debut after finishing up his six-game suspension.
