Trubisky and third-stringer Mason Rudolph split first-team repetitions in practice this week, leading to some speculation that the Steelers might go with Rudolph this weekend. We could still see Rudolph in this game if Trubisky struggles early. The 28-year-old went 22-for-30 for 276 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in relief of Pickett in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.   Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett exited Sunday's game versus the Baltimore Ravens and was taken to the locker room for medical attention. Mitch Trubisky entered the game in his place. It's an interesting development out of Pittsburgh considering Pickett was evaluated for a concussion but cleared protocol and quickly returned to the game. Moments later, he exited for a second time. It remains to be seen if he will return. So far, he has gone 0-for-1 passing with 16 rushing yards and one sack.

  Mitch Trubisky Expected To Start In Week 7

  Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky is expected to start in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins with rookie first-rounder Kenny Pickett in the concussion protocol. With the new NFL concussion protocols, it basically takes a week for a player to clear the protocol now, and it doesn't include a lot of practice. Steelers.com's Dale Lolley wouldn't be surprised if Mason Rudolph is the backup to Trubisky next Sunday night. Trubisky went 9-for-12 for 144 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in relief of the injured Pickett. Fantasy managers that have been using Pickett in two-QB superflex leagues of late will need to look elsewhere in Week 7. Trubisky, meanwhile, will be a low-end QB2 streamer if he's back in a starting role.
