Jadeveon Clowney Clears Concussion Protocol
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has cleared concussion protocol ahead of the Week 17 matchup against the Washington Commanders. The three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher was spotted boarding the team plane. That being said, it sounds like Clowney is going to be back on the field this weekend. His presence is certainly a boost for this defensive unit. However, it's uncertain how much Clowney will play with the Browns not having much incentive to win.

Jadeveon Clowney Active, Denzel Ward Inactive Sunday
Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is active for Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens. Meanwhile, cornerback Denzel Ward (concussion) is inactive. Martin Emerson and Greedy Williams will likely see increased snaps at cornerback, which could be problematic for Cleveland's defense as it tries to slow down Ravens receivers Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay.

Jadeveon Clowney, Denzel Ward Ruled Out In Week 6
The Cleveland Browns have ruled out defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle, elbow, knee) and cornerback Denzel Ward (concussion) for the Week 6 game against the New England Patriots. Clowney returned in the Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers after missing the two previous games with an ankle injury, and he'll return to the sidelines this weekend. Ward's absence will be more bad news for Cleveland's secondary as they face rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe, who is making just his second career start this weekend. Cleveland's defense/special teams unit is still worth a look as a streaming option in Week 6, but they don't have a very high ceiling.

Jadeveon Clowney Optimistic About Returning Sunday
Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is optimistic that he will be active for Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He is listed as questionable after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He did manage to log a limited session on Friday. The 29-year-old hasn't played since Week 2 when he amassed two tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery. His return would go a long way for the Browns as they look to slow down a talented Chargers offense.

Jadeveon Clowney Out Against Falcons
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is officially inactive in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. With All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett (biceps, shoulder) already ruled out for this one after getting into a scary car accident early in the week, the Browns defense will be without their two best pass-rushers on Sunday against the Falcons. It makes their defense/special teams unit one to avoid this week against a Falcons offense that has exceeded expectations through three weeks of the season. Cleveland's D will also be missing defensive tackle Taven Bryan in this one. Clowney will now miss his second straight game.

Jadeveon Clowney Officially Out Against The Steelers
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is officially out for Thursday night's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran defensive lineman suffered the injury in last week's 31-30 loss to the New York Jets. Reports earlier in the week stated he wouldn't play against the Steelers. However, the Browns have officially ruled him out for the AFC North divisional showdown. While Cleveland won't have Clowney for this game, Myles Garrett is expected to play against the Steelers. Despite the loss of Clowney, the Browns defense remains a solid streaming option against a struggling Pittsburgh offense.

Jadeveon Clowney Ruled Out For Thursday Night
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has already ruled out defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle), defensive end Chase Winovich (hamstring) and tight end Jesse James (biceps) for the Week 3 game on Thursday night against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The oft-injured Clowney was in a walking boot after the Week 2 loss to the New York Jets, so there's a chance he could miss multiple games after getting injured on Sunday. It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old will be able to suit up for a Week 4 meeting with the Atlanta Falcons. Before Clowney was injured against the Jets, he was having a nice game with two solo tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Jadeveon Clowney Leaves Stadium In A Boot
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) was seen leaving FirstEnergy Stadium in a walking boot. The 29-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the New York Jets and was ruled out shortly after. Clowney is one of the best defensive performers in the NFL, so losing him for an extended period wouldn't be ideal for a Browns team hoping to make the postseason. Nonetheless, the team should have an update sometime soon, although IDP managers should start looking for a replacement in case Clowney can't go in Week 3. Considering Cleveland plays the Steelers on Thursday night, it's certainly possible Clowney won't be in uniform.

Jadeveon Clowney Questionable To Return In Week 2
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) suffered an ankle injury against the New York Jets in Week 2 and is questionable to return. He had logged two tackles, one strip sack, and one fumble recovery prior to exiting. Evidently, he is a key piece of the Browns' defense and his absence will hurt the unit. Look for Alex Wright to replace Clowney on the end of the defensive line.
