David Bakhtiari Will Return Against Vikings
Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari (appendix) doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 17 game against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings and will play for the first time since having appendicitis. He hasn't played since Week 12. The 31-year-old's return couldn't come at a better time for the Packers in another must-win game against the current No. 2 seed in the NFL. The Vikings won't be resting anyone either, as they're still in play for the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the postseason. While Bakhtiari will be back this weekend, it remains to be seen if he'll be on the field for every offensive snap as quarterback Aaron Rodgers' blind-side protector.

"From what I'm told, it could be a while," head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday. The 31-year-old had the surgery last Friday and missed the Week 13 win over the Chicago Bears, and it looks like he'll miss more time moving forward. The Packers still have their bye, but it remains to be seen when Bakhtiari will be able to play again in 2022. The three-time Pro Bowler has played in just nine games this season due to injuries. The Packers offensive line will be missing a key piece on quarterback Aaron Rodgers' blind side until Bakhtiari is healthy enough to return.
