DeAndre Hopkins Likely To Be Traded This Offseason

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is expected to be traded this upcoming offseason. The organization appears ready to move on from the 30-year-old who has two years left on his current contract. The fact that Hopkins wants a new deal is possibly why the team wants to trade him this offseason. Regardless, the superstar wideout should be one of the best available receivers this offseason. He finished with 64 receptions, 717 yards, and three touchdowns through nine games this season. Those don't seem like great numbers, but Hopkins was suspended early in the season and dealt with a knee issue late in the year. He still should be able to produce above average numbers on whatever team he lands with next season.

DeAndre Hopkins Won't Play In Week 18

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) won't play in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers. The star receiver didn't play against the Atlanta Falcons last week after suffering a knee injury during practice. With the Cardinals eliminated from playoff consideration, it's no surprise that Hopkins won't play this week. The star receiver ends the 2022 season with 64 receptions on 96 targets for 717 receiving yards and three touchdowns in nine games. Depending on what Arizona does in the offseason, Hopkins might have played his final game for the Cardinals. However, the star receiver showed that he has plenty of gas left in the tank and is a WR2 or better next year, regardless of where he is playing.

DeAndre Hopkins Ruled Out For Week 17

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) has been ruled out for a Week 17 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Hopkins did not participate in practice on Friday, and with Arizona already eliminated from playoff contention, it's no surprise that the team has elected to play it safe with its star wideout. With David Blough starting at quarterback, it will be difficult to trust any Cardinals receiving option, but Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch, A.J. Green, and Trey McBride could all see additional target volume.

DeAndre Hopkins Could Miss Week 17

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) could miss the Week 17 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said the team will see how Hopkins feels on Saturday before making a decision. Colt McCoy (concussion) protocol has already been ruled out and David Blough has been named the starter. It seems like the Cardinals are waving the white flag this week, so it'll be no shock if Hopkins doesn't take the risk of playing in a "meaningless" game. If he does play, it's hard to bench him since he's produced will several bottom-of-the-barrel quarterback in his career, but his touchdown upside will be capped.

DeAndre Hopkins A Full Participant Friday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (illness) was a full participant at Friday's practice after being held out on Thursday. The 30-year-old draws a tough matchup with a solid Patriots defense in Week 14 on Monday night, but fantasy managers can value him as a WR1 option regardless. He was out-targeted by Marquise Brown in Week 12, as he saw under 12 targets for just the second time this season. With Brown back in the mix, it seems less likely Hopkins continues to draw an astronomical target share, but it is safe to say he will remain the top dog in the passing game and continue to provide WR1 fantasy value.

    DeAndre Hopkins Out Sick Thursday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (illness) was held out of practice on Thursday due to an illness. Hopkins still has a few days left to return to practice with the Cardinals facing the New England Patriots on Monday night in Week 14. The 30-year-old should be ready to go by then and will continue to operate as quarterback Kyler Murray's favorite target through the air. When healthy, Nuk is a must-start WR1 in fantasy. Since making his season debut in Week 7 due to a suspension, he has 49 catches on 64 targets for 574 yards and three touchdowns in only six games played. The return of Marquise Brown takes a little shine off of Hopkins' fantasy ceiling, but he's still a must-start.

DeAndre Hopkins Active For Monday Night Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is officially active for Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. Hopkins has impressed since returning from suspension, catching 36 passes for 396 yards and two touchdowns over four games. He should be viewed as a stable WR1 option despite the recent emergence of Rondale Moore. In fact, even with Colt McCoy starting in place of Kyler Murray (hamstring), Hopkins has tremendous upside.

Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins Questionable For Monday Night

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (hamstring) and DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) are officially listed as questionable for Monday Night Football versus the San Francisco 49ers. Both players were limited in practice on Saturday. Murray has played in eight games this season, completing 67 percent of his passes for 2,168 yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions. If the 25-year-old can't suit up this week, veteran Colt McCoy (knee) would be in line for his second consecutive start. Meanwhile, Hopkins has impressed since returning from suspension, catching 36 passes for 396 yards and two touchdowns over four games. He should be viewed as a WR1 if healthy, though the emergence of Rondale Moore and expected return of Marquise Brown (foot) could eat into Hopkins' volume.

DeAndre Hopkins Limited In Practice On Friday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant in the team's practice on Friday. This is a step in the right direction for Hopkins, who was sidelined on Thursday with a hamstring injury. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Arizona's practice report tomorrow as the 30-year-old will have another chance to upgrade his status ahead of a Monday night showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.

    DeAndre Hopkins Doesn't Practice Thursday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday due to a hamstring injury. He was dealing with a hamstring issue and was given the day off Thursday. The 30-year-old will have two more chances to practice ahead of Monday's contest against the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City. Since returning from a six-game suspension in Week 7, he has 36 catches for 396 yards and two touchdowns over four games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation throughout the weekend. If active, Hopkins is a borderline WR1 against the 49ers in Week 11.

DeAndre Hopkins "A Full Go" Against The Saints

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) will make his season debut against the New Orleans Saints Thursday night. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the 30-year-old is a "full go" in his 2022 season debut. He was suspended for six games to begin the season for violating the league's performance-enhancing substances policy. His return comes at a perfect time, as the Cardinals recently lost star wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) for four-to-six weeks. Hopkins won't be limited and will be Arizona's top target and should be started in all league formats despite just returning to action.

DeAndre Hopkins Activated, Matt Ammendola Released

The Arizona Cardinals activated wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the 53-man active roster on Monday and released kicker Matt Ammendola in a corresponding move. Hopkins finished serving his six-game suspension and will make his season debut in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night, where he should be quarterback Kyler Murray's top receiving target now that Marquise Brown (foot) is out for around six weeks. Hopkins dealt with a sprained MCL in 2021, but he should be well past that injury now. The Cardinals cutting Ammendola suggests that they think Matt Prater (hip) will be able to return on Thursday after a two-game absence. If not, the team will need to add another kicker early this week.
