Cardinals lose another QB, Colt McCoy (concussion) exits

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Colt McCoy exited with a concussion in the third quarter of Sunday's road game against the Denver Broncos. McCoy started because Kyler Murray sustained a season-ending ACL injury in Monday's loss to the New England Patriots. McCoy, 36, was injured on the third offensive play of the second half with the Cardinals leading 6-3 when he was stopped after a 1-yard run. He attempted to get up before falling back to the ground and was evaluated by team trainers. A cart was summoned to bring McCoy off the field but he declined, walked off the field on his power and went to the locker room. McCoy was 13-of-21 passing for 78 yards and one interception before exiting. Trace McSorley replaced McCoy. The 27-year-old was making his fourth appearance of the season and seventh of his career. Entering the day, he was 11 of 24 for 161 yards one touchdown and one interception with the Baltimore Ravens (2019-21) and Cardinals (2021-22). --Field Level Media
