Chiefs' Travis Kelce fastest TE to reach 10,000 career receiving yards
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce became the quickest tight end to reach 10,000 career receiving yards, reaching the mark in his 140th career game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Kelce caught a 37-yard pass in the first quarter to achieve the milestone. He is just the fifth tight end to reach 10,000 yards. Kelce entered the game with 9,974 for his career. Tony Gonzalez is the all-time leader with 15,127 yards, followed by Jason Witten (13,046), Antonio Gates (11,841) and Shannon Sharpe (10,060). Kelce, 33, entered the day with 968 receiving yards this season and has strung together seven consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns. No other NFL tight end has more than four total 1,000-yard seasons in their career. --Field Level Media
