Precious Achiuwa Listed As Questionable Thursday
Toronto Raptors forward/center Precious Achiuwa (ankle) is regarded as questionable for Thursday's battle with Memphis. He has sat out 22 consecutive games but is getting close to returning to the lineup. Achiuwa averaged 8.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in 20.4 minutes at the start of the season before hurting his right ankle. Juancho Hernangomez and Thaddeus Young have been earning some good minutes in his absence, and Achiuwa's eventual return will have a negative impact on both players.

Toronto Raptors forward Precious Achiuwa (ankle) has been sidelined since early November with a severe ankle sprain. Earlier this week, Achiuwa was getting some light practice in on the court and Nick Nurse said that we may not see him until the turn of the new year. He's still favoring his ankle and doesn't look that close to returning just yet. Once he's back, Thaddeus Young and Juancho Hernangomez will take big hits to their fantasy value moving forward.

Toronto Raptors center Precious Achiuwa (ankle) has been ruled out indefinitely. He injured his right ankle in Wednesday's win over Houston and an MRI has revealed that Achiuwa has partially torn ligaments in his ankle. This injury is probably as nasty as it sounds, and the 23-year-old even has to wear a walking boot for 10 days. With Pascal Siakam (groin) already unavailable and ruled out for multiple weeks, it will be up to Christian Koloko and Chris Boucher to carry the Raptors frontcourt. Thaddeus Young has re-entered the frame as well lately and could get a bigger role going forward, while Otto Porter Jr. also has a chance to pick up extra minutes. He logged a season-high 23 minutes Wednesday after Achiuwa left and nearly posted a double-double.

He exited in the fourth quarter, finishing with four points, six rebounds and one block in 12 minutes. The Raptors are already without Pascal Siakam (groin), so the team's frontcourt will look very thin if Achiuwa is forced to miss time. We should know more about his injury ahead of Friday's contest versus the Thunder. Toronto's injuries have already paved the way for Christian Koloko to enter the starting lineup, and Chris Boucher is in line for extra minutes as well if Achiuwa is unavailable.
