Chas McCormick Scratched Wednesday
Houston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick (finger) was scratched from the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers. McCormick is dealing with a sore right pinkie finger after dislocating the digit a week ago. Before playing on Tuesday, the 27-year-old missed the previous four games. For now, consider McCormick to be day-to-day. It's unclear if he'll be available off the bench on Wednesday. With an off day coming on Thursday, he could be back in there on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. David Hensley is now serving as the team's designated hitter and will bat eighth against Rangers left-hander Martin Perez. Hensley should be avoided in DFS in what will be just his third major league game.
