Dane Dunning Set To Undergo Hip Surgery, Out For Season
Texas Rangers starting pitcher Dane Dunning (hip) is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his hip and will miss the remainder of the season. The Rangers don't have a definitive timeline for Dunning's return, but hope he will be ready of the beginning of the 2023 season. The 27-year-old didn't take the step forward that some were expecting this season, pitching to a 4-8 record with a 4.46 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 137 K over 153 IP. He is more of a deep league streamer type than anything at this point in his career.
