  Yoan Moncada Still Out Thursday

  Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (foot) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Minnesota Twins. Moncada fouled a ball off the top of his foot on Tuesday and will miss his second straight game, but he's considered day-to-day right now. It's been a tough year for the 27-year-old Cuban, as he's hitting just .212/.278/.358 with 12 home runs, 49 RBI, 39 runs scored and two stolen bases in 372 at-bats in an injury-riddled campaign. Josh Harrison will get another start at the hot corner on Thursday and will hit eighth against Twins right-hander Louie Varland. Harrison has gone 10-for-27 (.370) in his last nine games, but he has very little pop and will be a low-upside DFS play.

  Yoan Moncada Day-To-Day With Foot Bruise

  Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (foot) is day-to-day with a bone bruise on the top of his foot and is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins, according to acting manager Miguel Cairo. Moncada fouled a ball off the top of his foot on Tuesday and will undergo X-rays. The 27-year-old switch-hitting Dominican is having a tough 2022 campaign, hitting just .212/.278/.358 with 12 home runs, 49 RBI, 39 runs scored and two stolen bases in 372 at-bats. With Moncada out of the lineup, Josh Harrison is starting at third base and batting eighth against Twins right-hander Josh Winder. Harrison has gone 3-for-10 but hasn't driven in a run or scored a run in the last week.

  Yoan Moncada To Play On Tuesday

  Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He returned from the injured list on Monday, but didn't play in that contest. The switch-hitter will bat second and play third base against right-hander Logan Gilbert on Tuesday. Moncada is slashing .197/.269/.313 with seven homers, 40 RBI this season. Fantasy managers can stream Moncada at their own risk, but there should be better options available.

  White Sox Reinstate Yoan Moncada From Injured List

  The Chicago White Sox reinstated third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) and left-hander Aaron Bummer (shoulder) from the injured list on Monday and optioned outfielders Adam Haseley and Mark Payton to Triple-A Charlotte in corresponding moves. The team also outrighted right-hander Tobias Myers to Charlotte. Moncada will return from his minimal stint on the injured list, but he's not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Seattle Mariners. Josh Harrison is getting the nod at the hot corner, but Moncada should play mostly every day for the White Sox at third base down the stretch. He's hitting a very disappointing .197/.269/.313 with seven homers, 40 RBI and 28 runs scored in 294 at-bats in 2022.

  Yoan Moncada Exits With Hamstring Tightness

  Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) exited Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with tightness in his left hamstring. He went 2-for-2 before being removed from Thursday's contest during the fifth inning. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day and will undergo further evaluation after the game. He is slashing .197/.269/.313 with seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 28 runs across 324 plate appearances. Moncada has been limited to 80 games this season due to lower body injuries. If Moncada were to miss any games, Romy Gonzalez would see an uptick in at-bats. Stay tuned.
