  J.P. Crawford Returns On Thursday

  Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (pectoral) is back at shortstop and is hitting sixth on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers and left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez. Crawford will return after missing the last three games with a pectoral injury. Adam Frazier will move back to the keystone for the series finale against Detroit. Crawford is happy to see the calendar flip to September, as he went 17-for-78 (.218) with no home runs, six RBI, five runs scored and 10 strikeouts in 24 games in August. Overall, the 27-year-old is slashing .256/.335/.350 with five home runs, 33 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases in his 426 at-bats for the M's.

  J.P. Crawford Still Sidelined Against Tigers

  Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (pectoral) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers. It will be Crawford's third straight game on the sidelines, but he could be available off the bench. Fantasy managers should consider the 27-year-old to be day-to-day. Perhaps he could use a little break heading into the final month of the regular season, as Crawford has gone 17-for-77 (.221) with no homers, six RBI, five runs scored and nine strikeouts in 23 games in August. Adam Frazier is handling the 6 on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Tigers left-hander Tyler Alexander. Frazier is a very low-upside DFS option. The 30-year-old has hit a mediocre .244/.309/.315 this year with only three homers, 33 RBI, 54 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 451 at-bats.
