Canadian-born Mavrik Bourque plays ice hockey professionally. The Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL) picked him 30th overall in the first round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He plays center, a position that normally combines defense and offense and calls for excellent skating, passing, and goal-scoring abilities.<\/p>\n

Bourque played for the Shawinigan Cataractes in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) before to signing with the NHL. He was selected in the first round of the NHL Draft due to his scoring prowess, hockey intellect, and leadership attributes, all of which were evident throughout his junior career. Excellent vision, deft hands, and the capacity to generate scoring opportunities for teammates are the defining characteristics of his playing style.<\/p>\n
