Professional ice hockey goalie Calvin Pickard has represented many clubs in the NHL. Pickard was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, on April 15, 1992. Throughout his career, he has played for a number of clubs and leagues.<\/p>\n

The Colorado Avalanche selected Pickard 49th overall in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He played major junior hockey with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL) before going professional, where he established himself as a dependable goalkeeper.<\/p>\n
