Professional ice hockey defenceman Troy Stecher is now with the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. Stecher started his hockey career with the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).<\/p>\n

He was born in Richmond, British Columbia, on April 7, 1994. He was recruited to play at the University of North Dakota after his stellar BCHL play got him noticed. There, he made a big impact on the team’s success, which included an NCAA title in 2016.<\/p>\n
