Harrison Butker, the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, kicked off controversy over the weekend at Benedictine College during his graduating speech. Butker made a number of comments in his speech that were sharply criticized for being misogynistic, homophobic, and anti-Semitic. This caused a huge outcry on social media and prompted an NFL response.<\/p>\n

His congratulating the female graduates while implying that getting married and starting a family would be the most exciting aspect of their futures was one of his remarks that particularly infuriated people.<\/p>\n
