Paul Skenes has implored the coaches of the Pittsburgh Pirates to let him develop into their own Shohei Ohtani, the MLB star.<\/p>\n

Against the Chicago Cubs over the weekend, Skenes made only his first start for the MLB team, proving once and for all why he was chosen with the first overall choice in the 2023 MLB Draft.<\/p>\n

However, after experiencing his first taste of professional activity, the rookie pitcher is already voicing his desires in an attempt to reach his full potential.<\/p>\n
