Paul Skenes is making waves in the whirlwind of minor-league dominance and big-league dreams, even though his call-up to the major leagues is still quite some way off. His girlfriend Olivia Dunne, a social media sensation, is a pillar of support for the budding baseball player.<\/p>\n

At the LSU Award Night on Tuesday, April 30, the sports couple was last seen cheering each other on and celebrating their collegiate accomplishments. And now, 845 miles have been traveled by Olivia Dunne, also known as Livvy, to be by her man’s side before the Major League Baseball 40-man roster is revealed.<\/p>\n

LSU’s best MLB prospect, Paul Skenes, has been making waves in the minor levels with his outstanding play, which has earned him the title of second-best pitcher of the season behind Stephen Strasburg. Skenes has an incredible ERA and frequently throws pitches over 100 mph, making him a force to be reckoned with.<\/p>\n

Livvy has been his strongest ally during his professional career and he is excited to make his Major League debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Livvy posted a mirror photo on Snapchat with the location set to “Indianapolis,” seemingly to witness the Major’s magic and cheer for Skenes, following her victory at the LSU gymnastics national.<\/p>\n
