Born on March 9, 1994, Morgan Frederick Rielly is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who also serves as the Toronto Maple Leafs’ alternate captain in the National Hockey League (NHL).<\/p>\n

The Maple Leafs selected him fifth overall in the first round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Rielly was a member of the Western Hockey League’s Moose Jaw Warriors prior to getting chosen. He has competed internationally on many times for Canada, the most notable of which being the 2016 World Championship, when he took home the gold medal.<\/p>\n
