American ice hockey player Nicholas Robertson was born on September 11, 2001. He plays left wing for the Toronto Marlies, an AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. In the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, the Toronto Maple Leafs selected him with the 53rd overall pick. In 2020, he made his NHL debut during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In four games, he scored just one goal.<\/p>\n

Recruiters from Ontario Hockey League saw him while he was playing in the GTHL, and they selected him with the 17th overall choice in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. The Peterborough Petes picked him. In his last season with the Peters before to the pandemic in 2020, he finished with 55 goals and 31 assists.<\/p>\n
