Teuvo Henri Matias Teravainen, a forward in professional ice hockey for the National Hockey League (NHL) Carolina Hurricanes, was born on September 11, 1994. After spending many seasons as a player for the Jokerit franchise in Finland, “Turbo” was chosen by the Chicago Blackhawks with the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.<\/p>\n

He was selected in the second round of the 2011 KHL Junior Draft by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) due to his scoring prowess and ability to create plays. As a member of the Blackhawks, Ter\u00e4v\u00e4inen was the winner of the Stanley Cup in 2015.<\/p>\n
