Head coach of the LSU Tigers Kim Mulkey gained notoriety on Sunday following her side’s victory over the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. In an embarrassing move, Mulkey attempted to comfort Savannah Wheeler, a standout player on the losing team.<\/p>\n

Mulkey, 61, gripped the crying Wheeler’s face a bit too firmly during LSU’s 83-56 victory that secured a Sweet 16 trip. Social media users quickly made the exchange into a meme.<\/p>\n
