The announcement was made that Amina Smith will be the new face of ESPN’s SportsCenter.<\/p>\n

On April 2, the well-liked anchor will start her new position at the sports network.<\/p>\n

Smith is leaving her position as an NBC Sports Boston sportswriter for the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.<\/p>\n

Smith started her career in broadcasting while still a student at the University of South Carolina, where she was a track athlete.<\/p>\n
