Maurice Alexander Jr., born on January 10, 1997, is an American football wide receiver currently affiliated with the NFL’s Detroit Lions. His football journey took a unique turn when he was chosen as the 139th overall pick in the 17th round of the 2022 USFL draft by the Philadelphia Stars. Despite going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft after playing college football at Florida International University, Alexander showcased his skills in the USFL. Named in the Week 2 All-USFL Team, Alexander demonstrated his versatility with an impressive performance against the Pittsburgh Maulers, accumulating 186 all-purpose yards, including 87 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Although primarily serving as a return specialist, he became a valuable asset for his team in both kick and punt return yards.<\/p>\n
