After receiving his rewards, Babudar disconnected his ankle monitor and left Oklahoma. Eventually, on July 7, he was taken into custody in Sacramento, California.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum penalty for the charges is 50 years in jail. In addition, he must turn over any property connected to his money laundering activities to the authorities and pay the victim financial institutions at least $532,675 in reparation. He stood up in court, humble and repentant, and admitted what he had done. &#8230; Moving from 20 charges down to three charges, it was an opportunity.
