Dominique Robinson, born on July 2, 1998, has quickly become a notable name in the National Football League (NFL) as a defensive end for the Chicago Bears. Hailing from Canton, Ohio, Robinson’s journey from high school to the NFL is a testament to his dedication and talent. Growing up in Canton, Robinson initially attended Timken High School, showcasing his skills on the basketball court and as the starting quarterback for the football team. However, after Timken closed and merged into Canton McKinley High School, Robinson faced a pivotal decision. Despite planning to focus on basketball, McKinley’s head football coach, Dan Reardon, convinced him to continue his football journey.<\/p>\n

Rated as a two-star recruit, Robinson committed to playing college football at Miami University, the sole Division I FBS program to extend a scholarship offer to him. His time at Miami (OH) prepared him for the next big step in his career. The turning point came in the 2022 NFL Draft when the Chicago Bears selected Robinson with the 174th pick in the fifth round.
