Michigan was determined to win a national championship, both on and off the field, and they wouldn&#8217;t allow any opponent, NCAA inquiry, or the six games its head coach was suspended for to stand in their way.<\/p>\n<h2>Referees Being Slammed Post Michigan National Championship Win<\/h2>\n<p>And when it counted most, No. 1 Michigan delivered another victory on Monday night, defeating No. 2 Washington 34\u201313 in front of a reported 72,808 spectators at NRG Stadium to win the school\u2019s first national title since it shared it with Nebraska in 1997. The CFP national championship game officiating left some supporters, particularly the Washington fandom, miffed. Even though the program has sparked controversy and allegations, people who are a part of it have been emboldened by it.<\/p>\n<p>Geoff Schwartz, a former offensive tackle with the Giants, tweeted: &#8220;Ehhh. There, Washington&#8217;s RT made a decent recovery.
