Caitlin Clark, the star of the Iowa Hawkeyes, recorded her 14th career triple-double and moved one spot closer to Brittney Griner on the NCAA all-time scoring chart (women’s college basketball) with her 29 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds on Friday in the Hawkeyes’ 103-69 victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.<\/p>\n

With his current score of 3,218 points, 21-year-old Clark is 65 points behind fourth-place finisher Griner (3,283). The Iowa star trails the record-holder Kelsey Plum by 309, with Jackie Stiles (3,393) and Kelsey Mitchell (3,402) being the other two ladies in her path of history.<\/p>\n
