Some members of the Rebel League’s family have taken note of Rory McIlroy’s more lenient position on LIV Golf.<\/p>\n

Jena Sims, the wife of LIV Golf star and five-time major champion Brooks Koepka, responded to recent remarks made by McIlroy on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday. The Northern Irishman stated, “I was maybe a little judgmental of the guys that went [to LIV Golf] at the start.”<\/p>\n

Sims replied, “New Year, New Rory,” in response to a post from X that emphasized McIlroy’s words.<\/p>\n

Previously considered one of the most vocal opponents of LIV Golf, McIlroy provided an alternative perspective this week on his colleagues leaving the Saudi-sponsored league, which currently features Jon Rahm, the current Masters champion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think at this point, I was maybe a little judgmental of the guys that went [to LIV Golf] at the start, and I think it was a bit of a mistake on my part because I now realize not everyone is in my position or in Tiger\u2019s [Woods] position,\u201d<\/em> As said by McIlroy on the podcast “Stick to Football”.<\/p>\n
