Patel was employed by the Jaguars for five years. According to the document, he could have to give up assets and property that he bought or funded with the money if found guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Although Patel was misinformed, his attorney Alex King said in a statement that his client did not use the Jaguars as his personal piggybank.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Former Jacksonville Jaguars employee Amit Patel is facing federal charges. In addition, he signed a retainer with a criminal defense legal company and booked private aircraft for himself and his pals.<\/p>\n<p>A message asking for comment was not immediately answered by Patel&#8217;s lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars&#8217; 2018\u201322 media guides include Patel. Per the complaint, this program let approved staff members to &#8220;request VCC&#8217;s for business-related purchases or expenses.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars and the NFL must be concerned by the discovery that Patel bet on sports with the majority of his pilfered money.
