Player for the Boston Red Sox, Gerrit Cole, nearly stole the win when his spouse was seated beside him.<\/p>\n

For his achievements in the American League, the pitcher for the New York Yankees was awarded the Cy Young trophy last week.<\/p>\n

In an interview conducted shortly after receiving the honor, Cole, 33, had his wife Amy seated next to him.<\/p>\n

Pedro Martinez of the MLB Network asked him what appeared to be a no-brainer.<\/p>\n
