The arrest happened in Tampa at roughly one in the morning on Saturday, during the Terrapins&#8217; bye week. The encounter did not include an accident or property damage.<\/p>\n<h2>Maryland Offensive Coordinator Kevin Sumlin Arrested For DUI Charge<\/h2>\n<p>Sumlin declined to be arrested and entered a not guilty plea. The maximum punishment for the charge against him is six months in prison. Sumlin\u2019s listed attorney declined to comment. A spokesperson for Maryland football did not immediately respond to request for comment. Sumlin was arrested around 1 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 301 in Tampa, Florida.
