From the age of three, Olivia Dunne took up gymnastics, and now, at the age of 21, she is the highest-paid female college athlete in the nation. Still, the road to the top hasn’t been without its challenges.<\/p>\n

Although joining the U.S. national gymnastics team as a young adolescent was undoubtedly an “honor,” the 2023 SI Swimsuit model\u2014who was earlier this year photographed by Ben Watts in Puerto Rico\u2014did not end up being the best match. A full-ride scholarship to LSU and a lucrative (seven-figure) career as a collegiate athlete were her alternative courses of action.<\/p>\n
