Chickillo, 30, started &#8220;trashing&#8221; an office at Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, on Thursday morning. He was placed on psychiatric hold for 72 hours.<\/p>\n<h2>Former NFL Player Anthony Chickillo Tased By Police After An Alleged Mental Breakdown<\/h2>\n<p>He also allegedly attempted to harm others and had a physical argument with his father before onlookers phoned police, who tased him to pacify him.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/Blitz_Burgh\/status\/1710722917502271715<\/p>\n<p>His girlfriend, Tatu Baby, subsequently told TMZ that the incident was triggered by Chickillo&#8217;s mental condition, which she believes stems from a football concussion.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ received a video of the ex-linebacker getting arrested while naked and barefoot. The former Miami Hurricane spent five seasons with the team. Tony Chickillo appeared in three NFL seasons, two with the Chargers and one with the Jets.
