On Wednesday, Jenni Hermoso’s World Cup victory lap took another intriguing turn.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old Hermoso, an attacking midfielder for Spain’s national team, released a statement with her union denouncing the “unacceptable” actions of Luis Rubiales, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, who kissed Hermoso after the team defeated England on Sunday, 1-0, in the Women’s World Cup final, as she and her teammates kept the celebrations going with distinctive accessories.<\/p>\n
