Israel Abanikanda plays American football as a running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played his high school football at Abraham Lincoln high school. At Pittsburgh, he played college football. In a game against Virginia Tech in 2022, Israel broke Tony Dorsett’s 1975 record of 303 yards by rushing for 320 yards, setting a new record for Pitt. He tied the school and ACC conference records with six rushing touchdowns in a single game.<\/p>\n
