Keenan Allen

Keenan Allen isn’t half the player he used to be, and there is no point of taking a chance on him in round 5 when he target share is going to be way down given the addition of Quentin Johnston. Between Allen, Williams and now Johnston, there will be a lot of targets to go around this offense. Allen is also coming off an injury riddled season, having only played ten games. With guys like Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, and Terry McLaurin all still likely on the board by that point, I would rather draft them given the uncertainty of Allen’s situation in LA.

Herbert to Keenan Allen ⚡️#ChargersCamp pic.twitter.com/6Hi3v0jPdC

— Chargers Country (@ChargersCountry) July 27, 2023

2.) Christian Watson
Christian Watson may have had a respectable rookie year but that was with one of the. best QBs of the modern era, Aaron Rodgers. There is a new man up for the job in Green Bay and his name is Jordan Love. Love only has 1 career start under his belt so taking a chance on any Packer WR might be risky if you are expecting a supreme amount of production. Love may end up playing good football this year but to me the risk isn’t worth the reward with Christian Watson if you plan on taking him in the 6th round. In the 6th round WRs like DJ Moore, DeAndre Hopkins and Drake London will all more than likely still be on the board, so if the 6th round roles around and you are thinking about taking a WR, don’t take Christian Watson.

The young vets in the room, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs leading the #Packers wideouts through indy drills pic.twitter.com/i2RMd7iz7r

— Wes Hodkiewicz (@WesHod) July 27, 2023

3.) Gabe Davis
Do not let this mans 4 TDs in playoff games fool you, sure he may have the odd game where he puts up 30+ fantasy points but is he really someone you would trust to start on a week in week out basis? He might be the most inconsistent player on the draft board at the WR position and taking a pick on him is a waste of your pick. Especially when you can grab Juju Smith-Schuster in the very same round. Juju Signed a 3 year, 11 million dollar contract with the patriots in the off-season, the biggest contract he’s ever had apart from his rookie deal with the steelers. Juju will be the WR1 in New England and I would feel much safer selecting him rather than Gabe Davis.

Josh Allen and Gabe Davis WASTE NO TIME WITH A 98-YARD TD🔥

(@NFL)pic.twitter.com/qqIEL2PSCZ

— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) October 9, 2022

There are a couple of wide receivers this year who i am avoiding at all cost in fantasy football, and to make sure you don’t make the mistake of drafting them, read through the entire article 1.)
