He finished 63 hot dogs to win the previous year. Wembanyama wasn&#8217;t present to witness the events because he wasn&#8217;t in the country at the time. At least seventy hot dogs had been consumed by him. Chestnut consumed 1,152 hot dogs in total during the competition from 2005 to 2022.
