It&#8217;s Neil Everett this time!<\/p>\n<h2>Reports: \u2018SportsCenter\u2019 Anchor Neil Everett Leaving ESPN Amid Network&#8217;s Layoffs<\/h2>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/frontofficesports.com\/sportscenter-anchor-neil-everett-leaving-espn-after-23-years\/\">Front Office Sports<\/a>, Neil Everett is departing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.in\">ESPN<\/a> after more than 20 years with the network.<\/p>\n<p>After 15 years of working with various affiliates, Everett joined ESPN in 2000. Everett began his radio broadcasting career in 1984 at KCST-FM in Florence, Oregon, following his graduation from Oregon.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Neil Everett and Stan Verrett. He began working at KITV-TV in Honolulu while still at HPU, where he had a variety of positions before eventually rising to the position of sports anchor.<\/p>\n<p>After 23 years at ESPN, SportsCenter anchor Neil Everett informed Front Office Sports that it is &#8220;last call&#8221; for him. However, a representative for ESPN told USA TODAY Sports that his contract was not extended.<\/p>\n<p>Everett&#8217;s departure is a result of ESPN&#8217;s recent request for network downsizing.
